Enable the latest version of OpenAI Codex CLI/Codex desktop client to connect to local agents of mainstream models (new support for mac/win packages, background operation, auto-restart on boot). It integrates MiMo V2.5/DeepSeek V4 Pro, and provides a universal provider mechanism. It is compatible with **OpenAI Chat Completions** (Qwen / GLM / Kimi / local vLLM / Ollama / LM Studio...) or **native Responses API** (from OpenAI itself). The upstream layer that receives the new Codex can translate Codex's Responses API into the upstream Chat Completions API in real time, and automatically route requests based on the `model` field provided by the client between providers.
