Scope
This policy explains how StarDay (开源序, independently operated by an individual) handles personal information when you use this site.
What we collect
- Account information: the email, name and avatar you provide when you sign up or sign in with Google or GitHub. We never receive your Google or GitHub password.
- Content you save: favorites, comparisons, saved searches and what you enter in your profile.
- Cookies: to keep you signed in and to remember your language and light/dark theme. We currently use no advertising cookies and no third-party analytics.
- Access logs: the server records IP address, time and browser information for security, abuse prevention and troubleshooting.
Browsing the rankings requires no account and no personal information.
How we use it
Only to provide sign-in, favorites and related features, to keep the site secure, and to reply to your emails. We do not sell personal information or use it for advertising.
Third-party services
- Cloudflare: the site is delivered and protected through Cloudflare's network, so requests pass through its servers.
- Google and GitHub: used only when you choose to sign in with them.
- Our server is located in Tokyo, Japan.
If payments or email delivery are added later, this policy will be updated to name the providers.
Retention and deletion
- Account information is kept until you deactivate your account. You can deactivate it under My account; your profile is then anonymized.
- Access logs are rotated and deleted periodically.
- To access, export or delete your information, email [email protected].
Changes
We will change the date at the top when we update this policy and announce material changes on the site.
